My name is Shari Sherman. I was born in Hawaii and one day hope to live there again. I currently live in Central Florida with my husband and daughter, and a menagerie of beasts from fin to fur. I love animals, especially dogs, turtles, whales, and sloths! I believe in adopting shelter pets!

I have been an artist all of my life, although it took me a long time to release my inner artist and make art my full-time passion. I am self taught, but I have taken many great classes and learned from many wonderful teachers. I believe the best way to learn is to DO!  My highest compliment is when my daughter says, "My mommy is an artist!" 

I love the ocean and everything in it! My happiest days are spent barefoot in the sand or being carried by the waves. Then coming in and painting about it!  I believe we need to do what we can to keep our planet clean. 

I create art because it makes me happy. The great thing is that it seems to make others happy too. I believe we need more happiness in the world!
